My work here as a level artist / world builder I was in charge of planning out, conceptualizing, creating the big shapes, set dressing, debugging and optimizing the massive natural volumes around temples, castles, villages, etc. Using landscape sculpting and painting tools, along with procedural tools for foliage, water bodies and farm fields, I built the landscape to represent the nature of Japan in an artistically coherent and historically accturate fashion.
Special thanks to my team for their invaluable support and feedback across the whole process!
